Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Morris Accounting Services collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit morrisaccountingservices.com, contact us, or schedule a consultation.

This policy applies to information collected through this website and related inquiry and scheduling services. It does not replace any separate privacy notice, engagement agreement, or professional obligation that may apply to client accounting records.

Information We Collect

When you contact us, we may collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, company name, service interest, message, and any other information you choose to provide.

We may also collect information associated with a website inquiry, including the page from which the inquiry was submitted, UTM source and campaign values, submission date and time, and an internal lead identifier.

Our website, hosting provider, security providers, and scheduling provider may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, approximate location, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and security or diagnostic information.

How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you when you submit the contact form, schedule a consultation, send us an email, call us, or otherwise communicate with us.

We and our service providers may also collect technical information automatically when you load or interact with the website, booking calendar, or anti-bot security tools.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, understand the services you may need, evaluate whether our services are a suitable fit, schedule consultations, communicate with prospective and current clients, maintain business and lead records, improve our inquiry process, prevent spam and abuse, diagnose technical problems, protect our legal rights, and comply with applicable law.

Contact Form and Lead Records

Contact-form submissions may be stored in protected files maintained by our website hosting environment, delivered to authorized Morris Accounting Services personnel by email, and synchronized with Google Sheets or another Google Workspace service when that integration is configured.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, QuickBooks credentials, tax documents, or other sensitive financial information through the website contact form.

Scheduling Through Calendly

Our booking page uses Calendly to provide online scheduling. When you use the booking calendar, Calendly may collect information you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, scheduling selections, and responses to booking questions. Calendly may also collect log, device, cookie, and local-storage information under its own privacy practices.

You can review Calendly's privacy notice at Calendly Privacy Notice.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated traffic. To perform this security check, the site sends the Turnstile response token and your IP address to Cloudflare. Cloudflare may also process browser, device, traffic, and security information as described in its privacy documentation.

You can review Cloudflare's privacy policy at Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Morris Accounting Services does not currently use advertising cookies or a first-party cookie-based analytics service on this website.

Third-party services embedded in or connected to the website, including Calendly and Cloudflare Turnstile, may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to provide scheduling, security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and related functionality. The cookies and similar technologies used by those providers are governed by their respective privacy policies and regional consent processes.

You can control or delete cookies and local-storage data through your browser settings. Blocking required storage or scripts may prevent the booking calendar, contact form, or security verification from working properly.

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the website and communicate with you, including website hosting, email, scheduling, security, and Google Workspace providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services or as otherwise permitted by their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights or safety, resolve disputes, or complete a business reorganization or transfer.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information collected through this website for cross-site behavioral advertising.

Data Retention

We retain inquiry and scheduling information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, evaluate or provide requested services, maintain appropriate business records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal or professional obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and the reason it was collected.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards include encrypted website connections, restricted access to stored lead records, anti-bot verification, and access controls provided by our service providers.

No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to ask about the personal information we maintain about you or to request that we correct or delete it. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may retain information when required or permitted by law, professional obligations, security needs, or legitimate business recordkeeping requirements.

Do Not Track

Because there is no uniform technical standard for browser Do Not Track signals, this website does not currently change its behavior in response to those signals. We do not use information collected through this website for cross-site behavioral advertising.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business owners and adults seeking professional bookkeeping services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, service providers, or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
